## Double Block Algebra 1

Double Block Algebra is a course designed to help students meet ALL the Algebra 1 state standards. This is an activity and technology based class that meets everyday for 90 minutes. It follows the same curriculum as the every other day Algebra course, but gives students twice the time to catch up to grade level. Students will explore functions; especially linear, absolute value, quadratic, power, polynomial, and exponential functions, and see the applications to real-life situations.

## Grading Criteria

**Homework will be assigned on a daily basis and worth 20% of your grade. You are expected to complete every problem assigned and show ALL work necessary. Assignments will be graded on effort and completeness. You are expected to correct your assignments in red pen, and show where you went wrong. If these procedures are completed with an HONEST effort you will recieve full credit.**
